| A music program like no other! ABC Music & Me developed by Kindermusik is a research-based language and early literacy program built around music. ABC Music & Me helps three to six-year-olds develop pre-literacy and language skills through a child’s most-loved rituals: music and story time. The program supports early childhood standards and requirements for “high quality programs” and is focused on developing skills that preschoolers need as they start more formal education. |

How your 3 ½ - 5 year old learns each week: |

- Introduces young musicians to composers, songs and stules form a variety of genres, such as classical, jazz and folk
- Builds a sturdy foundation for music education by introducing children to music vocabulary, pre-music reading and more complex music concepts such as largo and presto or legato and staccato
- Provides fun, guided, ensemble-style opportunities for vocal exploration, movement and instrument play

- Songs and rhymes to develop phonetic awareness and early reading skills
- Tapping, clacking, and ringing rhythm instruments in time with music to improve hand-eye coordination
- Focused listening with music to improve skills in following directions
- Instrument play to strengthen fine motor skills
- Developmentally-appropriate songs to develop vocal chords and expressive speech
- Learning that emphasizes storytelling, imaginative play, and taking turns

- Weekly 40-minute class
- Student Kit that includes a 4 CD’s with all the music from class, a percussion instrument and Magazine style Family Guide.
