1. How Do I know which class is right for my child?
Age recommendations for each Kindermusik class are made to ensure that children are grouped in a developmentally appropriate way. Your child need to be at least the minimum age before the start of the semester to be enrolled in that class. If you are concerned about this at all, please feel free to discuss this with the director of the studio. |

2. Can I enrol mid-term?
Yes you can and your fees will be calculated on a pro-rata basis. |

3. Do I need the Home Materials?
The Home Materials are a valuable and integral part of the Kindermusik program. They are a wonderful tool for parents to bridge the gap between class and home. Children who frequently reinforce and enjoy the Kindermusik activities in their home environment will feel more secure in class and will be more inclined to participate. |

4. Do babies really benefit from a Kindermusik class?
Though it may seem that your baby is just gazing around in class, he is really absorbing the whole environment around him. Whether your child appears to be participating or just cuddling with you, they are benefiting simply by being surrounded by the movements, sounds and experiences that is the Kindermusik class. Kindermusik recognizes that you are your child's most important teacher and thus the class is designed to encourage and nurture the bond between you and your baby. |

5. My child and I have a lot of fun in our Kindermusik class, but I wonder is he really learning anything about music?
Though our classes might seem like they are lots of fun and your child is just playing and having a good time, that is precisely what the Kindermusik approach is all about. The curriculum is based on a solid musical foundation following current research into child development. As your child jumps, claps, taps their sticks or play with their bells, they are learning about the development of beats, rhythms and patterns in the different genres of music that they are exposed to, but in a fun and playful environment with their favourite teacher next to them - you! |

6. I plan to take my children to music classes when they are older. Why should I bother to take them for music classes when they are so young?
We believe that every child is musical and the Kindermusik program is developed to enhance your child's overall development through sound music practices from birth. It will foster a life long love for music and should they choose to learn an instrument when they are older, it will definitely enhance the way that they master it. What better way for you to give your child the jump start to their musical journey than right here at our Kindermusik classes!! |

7. My child loves the Kindermusik class and sings all the songs at home. But when we are in class, she clings to me and does not participate.
Every child learns in their own way. Please do not be concerned if your child just wants to sit and observe the class with you. This is just her way of exploring the world around her. It can be frustrating for you as a parent to wonder why your child is not participating, however, be assured that Kindermusik is a process and not a performance. Your child is learning and developing just by being exposed to the dynamic environment that is a Kindermusik class. We believe that every child is successful in his or her own way. |

8. My child has developmental problems. Is Kindermusik suited for him?
Absolutely! Research has shown that music classes dramatically enhance the development of EVERY child no matter where they are developmentally. Developmental or physically challenged children thrive in a Kindermusik class. All the activities can be adapted to suit your child's needs. Please speak to your educator and we will be able to help you adapt our program to make learning at our place the best place for your child. |

9. Why should I choose to do Kindermusik instead of other activities out there?
Kindermusik is an experience unlike any other. It is the single best choice in early childhood activities because it targets all areas of development for your child. The program is designed to enhance your child's creativity, music ability, listening skills, self-esteem, hand eye coordination and literacy and language skills.
